There are those gifted people who can decorate a cake or cupcake so it has the appearance of a work of art in frosting. Then there are those of us who are frosting challenged. Personally, I'm lucky to be able to dig a wad of frosting out of a can and slather up the cupcake and SOMETIMES have it look presentable though it usually looks slightly embarrassing. That's usually the best I can ask for.
Until now.
Just look at my "fancy" cupcakes! All dressed up in their fancy pants. A plain ol' vanilla cupcake dressed up as if it's going to a Valentine's Day party! They're not just plain ol' cupcakes now!
These cupcake wraps are called "Roundabouts Cupcake Sleeves" and come in a package of twelve. The package says, "The fun and easy way to dress up a cupcake" - and it's correct! There's finally a way to make a cupcake look good enough for a party, for those of us who don't know an pastry bag tip from a Q-tip!
In the photo above, you can see a rectangular shaped little cake. I often make these in place of cupcakes, as they are more like a small serving of a cake, rather than the two-bite cupcake. I put two Roundabouts Cupcake Sleeves together to "dress" that little cake. It didn't want to be the only one at the party without fancy party clothes!
And the best news? These "Roundabouts" come in over 70 - count'em, SEVENTY - designs! If you're having a party or a shower, or just want to make cupcakes special occasion for your family, Roundabouts are the solution for every event. They are so easy to use - just remove a strip that covers the adhesive, wrap the Roundabout around your cupcake, and gently press one end over the other and there you have it - a fancy wrap for your previously naked cupcake!

Well, you can change that little thing on the bottom now to ONE cared enough to comment.
LOL- I followed your link back to your blog. You are a pretty funny lady! I do have to share one thing with you though. The difference between a Q-TIP and a Pastry tip? Yeah..the Pastry tip has a HOLE IN IT...and the other one GOES IN A HOLE. Got it? (that is SweetCheeks new and most favorite saying)..Got it?
I am so glad that you found me. And, if makes you any happier I am not much of a cake froster either. I dunno...I can sew..and bake...and cook...and I am great at keeping the hubby's undershorts clean...but I can't frost a cake so it looks nice..unless it is in a 9x12 pan and I cover it with CoolWhip...we do that here in the Midwest you know?
So...I am off to work tomorrow and for a couple of days you will see Magazine Mockery..which makes fun of ads in the mags...cuz that is quick and I can still stay connected. Other than that..when you visit my blog...you get REAL life-warts and all!
Thanks for finding me- I am signing up as your newest follower...you are stuck with me now! Hugs- Diana
