It is cold, cold, cold and snowy here in southwestern Ohio, plus my husband has a very stressful work week. So this week's menus are comfort foods and soups! You can share your own menus (or read others) at Organized Junkie.
Chicken and Dumplings
Turkey Soup (from freezer)
Baked pork chops
Macaroni and cheese
Peas and carrots
Breakfasts: Cereal with banana, oatmeal, whole wheat toast
Lunches (packed for Jeff for work): Leftover soup, lunchmeat/cheese sandwiches, egg or tuna salad on lettuce, leftovers.
This week is, of course, about Christmas preparations -- mainly decorating the house. My husband's birthday is on 12/14 and he does not like the tree or major decorations up before then. It's a quirk he's had since childhood, I guess! So this is the week for major decorating to happen.
